Laura Jesson

A natural born yogi, from philosophy to physical activity, breath and body, movement and stillness, Laura is always striving for balance in her life and empowering the same in others. After five years of personal practice, she took her first training in Moksha Yoga, followed by PreNatal Yoga with Janice Clarfield, and Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark. This lead to more teaching, practice and study with Yoga Outreach Core Training in trauma, Mindful Self-Compassion with Kristen Valerio and Meditation Facilitation Training with Michael Stone. One strong source of inspiration and teachings woven throughout continues to be the influence of Michael Stone, a late great Psychotherapist, Yoga, Buddhist and Mindful Meditation teacher, author, activist, mentor and friend. Laura is now diving into the teachings of Kundalini Yoga, after completing Level 1 with Yoga West she is currently in Level 2 Training.
Laura brings her passion in working with people to feel well and whole in body, mind and spirit. Her strong steadiness mixed with gentle encouragement inspires others to listen to their own personal limits while challenging themselves to grow, evolve and thrive in life and love.

E-RYT 800+, Moksha 500 hours, Prenatal Yoga, Yin Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Training, Mindfulness Meditation Training. Kundalini Yoga Level 1 KRI certified, working on Level 2, Lifecycles and Lifestyles winter/spring 2021. BA Degree in Psychology. Post Graduate Diploma in Wellness and Lifestyle Management.
