Solace Wellness Centre

Covid-19 Studio Protocol

To comply with current Provincial Health orders we are asking that masks be worn in our space. Once class begins, you can choose to remove your mask while class is in session. If you need to move away from your mat to use the bathroom for example, we ask that you put your mask back on.

New Public Health Orders

In accordance with the BC Ministry of Health Public Health Order Guidelines, we have implemented the following policies and procedures to ensure your health and safety while participating in group yoga classes at the Solace Centre Yoga studio:
PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED : 1st dose Sept 13th, second dose Oct 24.
Staff members will be requesting proof of vaccination from each student in the form of the following:
1. An official Covid-19 Immunization Record Card
2. Valid Government ID.
We understand the inherent difficulties in implementing the BC Ministry of Health Public Health Order Guidelines and the inconvenience it may cause. We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation during this difficult time. Please be respectful of your fellow community members while participating in group yoga classes at the Solace Centre Yoga studio. We are all in this together.

We set up a sanitization station at the entrance to the studio as everyone will be required  to sanitize their hands upon entry. They are also available at other spots in the studio as  well for increased comfort and ease.

Air Quality

Our yoga room is equipped with a hepa air filter for large rooms.  We also have opening skylights for fresh ocean air flow.

We have updated all our cleaning practices and products to meet and go beyond the  standards set out by Island Health and the Provincial Health Office. We are cleaning and disinfecting the studio, all common touch points, and giving the entire space a deep clean  numerous times a day.

Props & Rentals

We have removed the props and mat/towel rentals from use to help ensure high  cleanliness standards. Feel free to bring your own from home.

Throughout our space, whether it is entering the lobby, within the studio, or leaving after  class, we have placed markers to ensure that social distancing is being practiced at all  times and that everyone’s space and belongings are secure.

The variety of yoga classes we offer can invigorate or restore by using physical posture, breath, meditation, mantra and sound.
